Summit Renewable Resources is dedicated to sustainable, eco-friendly energy sources. Each project takes advantage of existing electricity grid infrastructure which minimizes start-up costs while also being advantageously situated in the path of planned major system upgrades. This enables projects to expand the infrastructure, as necessary, to move additional energy to market.

A SIMPLE STRATEGIC APPROACH

Our business model continues the approach of developing small facilities, strategically sized and located, to take maximum advantage of the characteristics of the power grid and energy markets in which they are located. Selling power to local utilities and other customers captures additional value streams which can be realized from renewable energy facilities including:

• Monetization of federal and state tax credits
• Sales of the environmental attributes of renewable power production such as Renewable Energy Credits and Emissions Reduction Credits
• Sales of energy and capacity services to regional power grid operators such as the Southwest Power Pool and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas
